Weapons Storage on Campus

On-campus students are allowed to store their weapons at the SIU Department of Public Safety if they require storage facilities. Students must have a Firearms Owner Identification (FOID) card and complete the application for storage. Students must also sign a document acknowledging receipt of and compliance with rules within the Student Weapons Storage facilities.
